  1. Current students from Mizoram University and its Affiliated Colleges, pursuing Sem II/Sem III/ Sem IV.

Learning Outcomes:


After the completion of this course, students will be able to:

Unit 2: Reading and Comprehension Skills Techniques for Effective Reading, Skimming, Scanning, and Detailed Reading, Critical Analysis of Texts, Understanding Narrative and Argumentative Texts, Reading and Interpreting Various Genres.

Unit 3: Advanced Writing Skills Academic Writing: Essays, Reports, and Research Papers, Creative Writing: Short Stories, Poetry, and Dialogues, Technical Writing: Manuals, Instructions, and Descriptions, Writing for Digital Platforms: Blogs and Social Media.

Unit 4: Digital Communication in Business Email Communication Strategies, Virtual Meeting and Video Conferencing Etiquette, Social Media in Professional Communication, The Role of Technology in Enhancing Communication.

Unit 5: Cultural Contexts and Communication Skills Cross-Cultural Communication Differences and Similarities, Non-Verbal Communication: Gestures, Postures, and Expressions, Social and Business Communication Norms, Language and Identity.
